DIFFERENCES BETWEEN LITERATURE AND OTHER BRANCHES OF ART
1. Literature is either written or spoken text while other branches of art are neither spoken nor written.
2. Literature uses language as its medium of its representation while other branches of art like painting pottery do not use language.
3. Literature is divided into form and content as some basic essential elements of literature; those elements make literature different from other works of art.
4. The target messages in literature are presented through characters while other branches of art do not have characters.
